Simple Stitches

EDITED PATTERN ON 7/13/2018: It was brought to my attention that there were errors in the stitch counts for some of the rounds on the ears. It has been fixed. I'm so sorry for any confusion! This is just a hobby for me, so I'm still learning. :-) ----------------------------------------- A friend recently asked me to make a Yoda hat for her baby boy, and my search for the perfect free pattern came up short. I wanted one with double-thickness ears so that they would hold their shape well, and just a basic double-crochet hat to keep things simple. So, here is what I came up with.
