Welcome to my new blog!    For those who don't already know me (which is probably very few of you, but nonetheless), my name is Laura and I've been blogging over at  the OCD mama  for the last two years. I've recently focused my efforts on crocheting and have operated an Etsy shop selling finished items. FREE PATTERN: Yoda Baby Hat

EDITED PATTERN ON 7/13/2018: It was brought to my attention that there were errors in the stitch counts for some of the rounds on the ears. It has been fixed. I'm so sorry for any confusion! This is just a hobby for me, so I'm still learning. :-) ----------------------------------------- A friend recently asked me to make a Yoda hat for her baby boy, and my search for the perfect free pattern came up short. I wanted one with double-thickness ears so that they would hold their shape well, and just a basic double-crochet hat to keep things simple. So, here is what I came up with. I'm only including the 6-12 month size, but may add other sizes in the future.  Size: 6-12 months (8" across, stretches to fit 16-18" head circumference) **You can also use any basic crochet hat pattern if you have a favorite, and then just use the instructions for the ears below. Button Wrap Charm Bracelets

For a long time I've been trying to figure out a bracelet design that would work up quickly for summer craft fairs and farmer's markets. Something simple, boho chic, and easy to put together with materials I already have on hand. Something that didn't require jewelry hardware, because let's face it -- I don't need to get all invested in materials for jewelry making too! I found a bracelet listing on Etsy that I really liked, but found no pattern for it and decided to try making it myself. I'm pretty happy with the results, and hopefully you will be too! Materials: Yarn - Small amount of mercerized cotton yarn (either Omega Sinfonia or Lion Brand 24/7 work great!)
